At Magcharge, we are committed to providing high-quality products and excellent customer service. This Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy explains your rights and our obligations regarding products purchased through our website.

This policy does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, or any other applicable UK consumer protection laws.

2. YOUR RIGHT TO CANCEL (ONLINE PURCHASES)

If you purchase products from our website as a consumer, you have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing within 14 days of receiving your order.

Once you have requested cancellation, you must return the goods to us within 14 days.

Conditions for Cancellation Returns

You may inspect the product as you would in a retail store. However, any reduction in value resulting from handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functionality of the goods may result in a deduction from your refund.

To qualify for a full refund, products should:

  • Be returned in their original condition.

  • Include all accessories, manuals and packaging where reasonably possible.

  • Not have been installed, wired, altered, damaged or modified.

3. INSTALLED ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS

Magcharge products are electrical accessories intended for permanent installation.

For health, safety and quality assurance reasons, products that have been:

  • Installed;

  • Wired into an electrical circuit;

  • Modified;

  • Damaged during installation; or

  • Used beyond reasonable inspection,

cannot be returned under the 14-day cancellation provisions unless they are faulty, not as described, or otherwise covered by your statutory consumer rights.

Nothing in this clause limits your rights in respect of faulty goods.

4. FAULTY, DAMAGED OR INCORRECT PRODUCTS

Under the Consumer Rights Act 2015, products supplied must be:

  • Of satisfactory quality;

  • Fit for their intended purpose; and

  • As described.

If a product is faulty, damaged on arrival, or not as described, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Where a fault is confirmed, we will, at our discretion and in accordance with your statutory rights:

  • Repair the product;

  • Replace the product; or

  • Provide a refund.

We may request photographs, installation details, or return of the product for inspection before processing a claim.

5. 30-DAY RIGHT TO REJECT FAULTY GOODS

If a product develops a fault within 30 days of delivery, you may have the legal right to reject the goods and receive a full refund under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

This right does not apply where damage results from:

  • Improper installation;

  • Failure to follow installation instructions;

  • Accidental damage;

  • Negligence;

  • Misuse; or

  • Unauthorised modifications.

 

6. RETURNS PROCESS

Before returning any item, please contact our customer service team to obtain return instructions.

Unauthorised returns may delay processing.

When requesting a return, please provide:

  • Your full name;

  • Order number;

  • Product details;

  • Reason for return;

  • Photographs where applicable.

Returned products should be securely packaged to prevent damage during transit.

7. REFUNDS

Once returned goods have been received and inspected, we will notify you of the outcome.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method.

Refunds are typically processed within 5–10 business days, although processing times may vary depending on your payment provider.

Where cancellation rights apply, we will refund:

  • The purchase price of the goods; and

  • The standard delivery charge originally paid.

Additional delivery services selected by the customer (such as express delivery) are non-refundable except where required by law.

8. RETURN SHIPPING COSTS

Faulty, Damaged or Incorrect Products

Where a product is confirmed to be faulty, damaged or supplied in error, we will reimburse reasonable return shipping costs or provide a prepaid return option where available.

Change-of-Mind Returns

Unless otherwise required by law, customers are responsible for return shipping costs when exercising cancellation rights for non-faulty products.

9. PRODUCT WARRANTY

In addition to your statutory rights, Magcharge products are covered by a manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship.

The warranty period begins on the date of purchase and applies only to products purchased from authorised retailers or directly from Magcharge.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Incorrect installation;

  • Failure to follow installation instructions;

  • Accidental damage;

  • Cosmetic damage after installation;

  • Unauthorised repairs or modifications;

  • Commercial misuse;

  • Normal wear and tear.

Proof of purchase may be required for all warranty claims.

10. PROFESSIONAL INSTALLATION

Where installation by a qualified electrician is recommended or required, failure to use appropriately qualified personnel may invalidate warranty coverage and limit eligibility for certain claims where the fault arises from improper installation.

11. BUSINESS CUSTOMERS

The cancellation rights described in this policy apply only to consumers.

Purchases made by businesses, trade customers or organisations may be subject to separate terms and conditions.

12. STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this Returns, Refunds & Warranty Policy excludes, limits or affects any rights you may have under applicable UK consumer protection laws, including the Consumer Rights Act 2015.

If any provision of this policy conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights shall prevail.
