PRIZE DRAW ENTRY – PRIVACY NOTICE

Countrywide Electrical Distributors Ltd (“CED Group”) is the data controller for the information you provide when entering this prize draw. We collect your name, email address, telephone number, company name and address only to run the draw, contact the winner and deliver the prize. We keep this information only for as long as needed to administer the draw and will then delete it.

Marketing is optional. Ticking the marketing box is not required to enter. If you opt in, we will use your name, company, position, email, telephone number and address to send you our news and offers, and we will keep these details for as long as you remain opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message or by emailing info@cedgroup.co.uk.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis.

• To administer the prize draw, select the winner and deliver the prize – lawful basis: our legitimate interests in running the promotion.

• To send you marketing, only if you opt in – lawful basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.

How long we keep it. Entry data is held only for as long as needed to run and conclude the draw, after which it is deleted. If you opt in to marketing, your marketing data is kept for as long as you remain opted in.

Who we share it with. We do not sell your data. We may share it with trusted service providers who help us run the draw or deliver the prize (for example our courier), acting on our instructions. The winner’s surname and county may be published, or made available on request, as required by the CAP Code.

Your rights. You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict or object to our use of your data, and to data portability. You can withdraw marketing consent at any time. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
