1. The Promoter

1. The Prize Draw is run by Countrywide Electrical Distributors Ltd, trading as CED Group (the “Promoter”), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 02884753, whose registered office is at 44–48 Freshwater Road, Dagenham, RM8 1RX.

2. Any queries regarding the Prize Draw should be directed to the Promoter at info@cedgroup.co.uk or 0208 503 8500.

3. The Prize Draw is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by or associated with Apple Inc., Screwfix, or Farnborough International Ltd. Any references are for descriptive purposes only.

 

2. Eligibility

1. The Prize Draw is open to attendees of Screwfix Live 2026 only, who are:

1. aged 18 years or over at the time of entry; and

2. resident in the United Kingdom.

1. The following persons are not eligible to enter: employees of the Promoter and their immediate families; and any supplier, agency, contractor or other party professionally connected with the Promoter or with the administration of the Prize Draw.

2. The Promoter may require entrants to provide proof of age, identity and eligibility before awarding the Prize. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the eligibility of all entrants and to withhold the Prize or disqualify any entrant who does not meet these Terms or who has entered using fraudulent, automated or improper means.

 

3. How to enter

1. To enter, attendees must, during the entry period, scan the QR code displayed at the Promoter’s stand and complete the online registration form in full, providing their name, email address, telephone number, company name and address.

2. The entry period opens at 10:00 on Thursday 24 September 2026 (the start of the show) and closes at 16:00 on Monday 28 September 2026 (24 hours after the show closes). Entries received outside this period will not be accepted.

3. Only one (1) entry is permitted per person. Duplicate entries, entries on behalf of third parties, and entries made through automated systems, scripts or bulk methods will be disqualified.

4. Entry is completely free of charge and no purchase is necessary. There is no cost to enter beyond the entrant’s own internet or data charges for accessing the online form.

5. Entries that are incomplete, illegible, or that do not comply with these Terms will be deemed invalid. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for entries that are lost, delayed, corrupted, or not received for any reason.

 

4. The Prize

1. The prize is one (1) Apple iPhone 17, 256GB, with an approximate retail value of £799 (the “Prize”). There is one (1) Prize and one (1) winner.

2. The Prize is non-transferable and non-exchangeable. There is no cash alternative, in whole or in part.

3. The colour of the iPhone 17 supplied is subject to availability and will be determined by the Promoter.

4. The Prize will be shipped to the winner by courier from the Promoter’s premises within 28 days of the close of the show, to a UK delivery address provided by the winner. The Promoter is not responsible for any delay, loss or damage caused by the courier once the Prize has been dispatched.

5. In the event that the specified Prize becomes unavailable for reasons beyond the Promoter’s control, the Promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value.

6. The Promoter’s responsibility for the Prize ends once it has been delivered. Any manufacturer warranty, after-sales service or technical support is a matter between the winner and the manufacturer or retailer.

 

5. The draw and notification of the winner

1. The winner will be selected at random from all valid entries received during the entry period. The draw will take place within 5 days of the close of the show, using a process that ensures a genuinely random and fair selection.

2. The winner will be notified by the Promoter using the contact details provided at entry within 10 days of the close of the show.

3. By entering the Prize Draw, the entrant agrees that, if they are the winner, the Promoter may publish and use the winner’s name, county, company, photograph and a statement or comment about their win, in any media, for the purpose of announcing the result and for the Promoter’s reasonable promotional and marketing activities, without further notice or payment. The Promoter will make the surname and county of the winner available to anyone who writes to the Promoter at the contact address, in accordance with the requirements of the UK Code of Non-broadcast Advertising and Direct & Promotional Marketing (the CAP Code). An entrant may object to the use of any further details, or request that the amount of information published or made available is reduced, by contacting the Promoter, and the Promoter will comply with any legal requirements in this respect.

4. The Promoter’s decision on all matters relating to the Prize Draw is final and binding, and no correspondence will be entered into.

 

6. Data protection and privacy

1. The Promoter, Countrywide Electrical Distributors Ltd, is the data controller for all personal data collected in connection with this Prize Draw. All personal data will be processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. The personal data provided at entry (name, email address, telephone number, company name and address) will be used solely for the purpose of administering the Prize Draw, selecting and contacting the winner, and delivering the Prize. This data will not be retained beyond the period necessary to administer the Prize Draw, unless the entrant has separately opted in to marketing (see clause 6.3).

3. As an optional and entirely separate choice, entrants may opt in to receive marketing communications from the Promoter. Marketing consent is not a condition of entry, and entrants may enter the Prize Draw whether or not they opt in. Where an entrant opts in, the Promoter may hold the following data for marketing purposes: name, company, position, email address, telephone number and address. This data will be retained for as long as the entrant remains opted in to marketing.

4. Entrants who opt in to marketing may withdraw their consent and opt out at any time, at no cost, by using the unsubscribe link in any marketing communication or by contacting the Promoter directly at info@cedgroup.co.uk.

5. Entrants have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, object to the processing of, and port their personal data. To exercise any of these rights, or to raise a concern, entrants may contact the Promoter at info@cedgroup.co.uk. Entrants also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.

7. General

1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, suspend or cancel the Prize Draw, or to amend these Terms, at any time and without prior notice, where it is necessary to do so for reasons outside its reasonable control. Any changes will be published by the Promoter.

2. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss or damage suffered as a result of entering the Prize Draw or accepting the Prize, except for any liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law (including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence).

3. By entering the Prize Draw, entrants agree to be bound by these Terms and by the decisions of the Promoter, which are final in all matters relating to the Prize Draw.

4. If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.

5. These Terms and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the parties submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
